My 7 year old loves the Strength Heroes workshops! She asks to attend them every holidays. And I love that the art is coupled with teaching resilience. Highly recommend everything they do.

My children have done both Mistake Makers and Strength Heroes holiday workshops over the years. It’s a joy to see them coming home and feeling proud of their masterpieces which I always tell them that their creations are uniquely theirs and they are the only one in the world, priceless!
I have found that these workshops are perfect fit for my children’s learning style. They are both visual-kinaesthetic learners so the workshops cater well for their needs and energy levels.
They may think the workshops are just arts and craft classes, little do they know the activities have been purposely designed to help them build their resilience. Just the other day, I was getting very frustrated with the Lego I was building. I’ve made a mistake somewhere and I had to back track which was SUPER annoying. Then my daughter told me Fiona said it’s ok to make mistakes. Her comment took me by surprise! This made me stopped and realised I wasn’t going to get anywhere if I keep grumbling away. So i’ve refocused and I’ve decided a constructive approach would be more helpful. After changing my mindset, I was able to focus on the task at hand instead of channeling my energy by grumbling away.
I couldn’t believe that I, unknowingly, was using the B.A.T. strategy to help manage my big emotions, the very basis on which all these workshops are built on.
Thank you Fiona, your workshops have definitely paid off! Not only have my kids benefited from your workshops, I have too! What a bargain! I have paid two for the price of one!!!
