The Busselton Foreshore Toddler Playground is a great asset to this area where families love to hang out. It’s on the opposite side to the Busselton Foreshore Adventure water playground, next to the side of the Goose Restaurant.
The nature playground is sand based and partly shaded with shade sails. There’s plenty of grass around the playground to put a picnic blanket down and enjoy a few hours here. You can grab a coffee, ice cream and lunch from the local cafe on the foreshore near the Jetty.
There are a few picnic shelters with benches and BBQs over looking the beach and ocean. Great for a party or big gathering of friends and family.
There’s plenty to keep toddlers busy and active including swinging nets, lots, boulders, tunnels, roundabouts and wooden walkways.
My kids loved playing with the speaker phones across the playground. You talk into one and your voice can be heard by the others scattered around the play area.
There are a few pieces of musical equipment scattered around the playground.
The main feature of the playground is this HUGE RED play train. Little ones can pretend to be train drivers on the famous Busselton Jetty train.
My kids also loved the funny mirrors which change your shape, they do however get a bit hot so be careful with toddlers’ hands.
Another favourite was the sand digger, however this was in full sun during our visit so we didn’t hang around it for long.
