Why not spend some time running wild in a playground? The kids will love exploring a new park away from home.
Find a playground close to the beach front, such as Emu Point Playground. On a nice warm day, you can combine a swim in the ocean and a play at the park. Take a barbecue lunch or a picnic and make a day of it.
A similar beach side playground is at Middleton Beach. Play on the large wooden pirate ship. The playground is surrounded by a large beautiful grassed area with barbecues. Perfect for a picnic lunch or dinner!

Middleton beach playground is a fantastic spot to take the kids to burn off some energy. It is located right on the Middleton beach in Albany. The main play structure is a large wooden pirate ship. I am sure there are plenty of children who would love to pretend they are pirates on this playground! The ship comes complete with a rope climbing frame, a small rock climbing wall and a large metal slide at one end. Eyre Park has had a huge upgrade approx 1 year ago. It is such a lovely place to come and let the kids burn off all that extra energy. There are plenty of tables and chairs dotted around the park, and even a few barbeques. There is also a large gazebo that you could sit under for a bit of shade. Eyre Park is quite a shaded park with lots of trees around, although, the main play area is mostly quite open and gets the full sun. The children are not short of things to choose from here.
