The Kalamunda Night Market, run by the Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce, transforms the Central Mall area into a vibrant family-friendly destination on selected Friday nights from 5pm to 9pm. Located between Haynes Street and Mead Street, extending past the Town Hall to Barber Street, these markets feature local artisans, food trucks, entertainment, and street performers. Markets operate monthly from September through May, with special events including Christmas Markets at Stirk Park.
Top Tip:
Allow plenty of time to find parking as it can get crowded. Make an evening of it by arriving around 5pm to explore the stalls in daylight, then enjoy dinner from the food trucks or local restaurants as the sun sets and the entertainment begins. While dogs are permitted on leash, it’s recommended to leave pets at home due to the crowds. Bring cash for market stalls, though many vendors accept cards.
