Fee Fi Fo Fumโฆ We smell a brilliant new playground (opened January 2019)! The โGiant Playgroundโ at Bushmead housing estate is found in Perthโs foothills, just minutes from Midland and Kalamunda.
Here, thereโs a giant-theme, so kids will love to spot all the giants hiding in the parkโฆ
Thereโs footprints,
noses, eyes,
toes and more!
Thereโs a fun-tastic climbing structure, as well as a little nature play. The playground is dominated by a tall tree house-like structure, best for older kids, as all the ways to the top are via climbing nets.
At the top, there is an enclosed tube slide that takes you back down to the woodchips.
Thereโs a โsleeping giantโ play structure, with a smaller, double slide in the playground, great for younger children who like to race or hold hands and slide together. Thereโs also a small climbing slope.
Be the king of the castle on the climbing platform and lookout, or hide in the tunnels.
Around the playground thereโs plenty of other things to climb, explore and balance on! The playground has been built around existing mature trees, so there is quite a bit of natural shade.
The playground is surrounded by a nature play element of large logs, which can easily be used as stepping stones.
Youโll also find a nest swing.
Thereโs a covered BBQ area with table and benches, sheltered from rain and sun.
Thereโs also a drinking fountain with dog bowl. There are currently no public toilets.
Giant Park is a fab park, with plenty of space to kick a ball on the grass and loads to keep children of all ages active and entertained.
Find giant Park at the corner of Leeuwin Boulevard and Greenslope Drive, Bushmead Estate, near Hazelmere.
