Bike Road Safety Skills

Learn the skills of safe riding including road rules, hand signals, and bike control through a series of fun games and activities conducted on the practice track.
What Kids Will Learn:
- How to fit a helmet the right way
- Basic bike balance and control
- Safe stopping and turning techniques
- Hand signals for riding on paths
- How to watch out for hazards
Who: Children aged 6 to 12 years old only, must be able to ride a 2 wheeled bike independently. Parents or guardians must stay for the duration of the event.
When: Saturday 3 October 2026, 2pm – 3.30pm
Where: Hossack Park Skills Track, Hossack Avenue, Parkwood
What to Bring:
- A working bicycle
- A properly fitted helmet
- A full water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Closed-toe shoe
