Good Sammy Enterprises Tour – Canning Vale Warehouse Ages 11 – 17yrs.

Join us on a thrifting adventure and enjoy a morning of sustainable fashion, bargains and fantastic finds!
Bus will leave Lynwood Youth Hub at 9.30am Sharp jump on the bus and head to Good Sammy warehouse in Canning Vale, for a ‘behind the scenes’ look at how op shop donations are sorted. Learn the journey of a donation from drop off to resale or repurpose, and discover how everyday items can be diverted from landfill and given a new life.
We’ll then hunt for second-hand bargains in the Good Sammy Factory Outlet Canning Vale.
The bus will return to Lynwood Youth Hub by 1.30pm.
Morning tea and voucher to shop in the Factory Outlet included.
This event has been supported by a grant from the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority. Together, we’re giving young people in Canning the tools and inspiration to rethink fast fashion and choose sustainable alternatives such as upcycling, swapping and second-hand shopping.
Register your interest. This event is open for young people aged 11-17 yrs, youth who do not meet the required age will have their ticket refunded.
Please ensure that you arrive 5 mins prior to the event start time to have your name marked off by one of the Youth Workers and bring your ticket with you.
Please note that no food will be provided during this event. Water is available however we do encourage you to bring your own water bottle.

Our qualified youth team will do all they can to ensure young people are safe, supported and supervised during their time on our programs and in our centres. A large part of our Youth Service is delivering drop-in from youth centres and outreach activities at various locations; meaning young people can come and go as they please during opening times. Please note: if a young person chooses to leave in the middle of a program or centre open hours, they have the right to do so. City of Canning does not take responsibility for young people who leave the centre or are not in the premises. City of Canning youth staff do not have the authority to keep young people at our premises at the request of parents.
