- Home-based business ideas
- The importance of market research
Workshop 2
Wednesday 19 March – 5.30pm to 7.30pm
Location: City of Belmont – Function Room, Belmont Civic Centre
- Marketing using low-cost digital methods.
- Branding
- Social media
- Google my business listing
Workshop 3
Wednesday 26 March – 5.30pm to 7.30pm
Location: City of Canning – Hillview Hub
- Pricing and payments
- Setting up a business bank account.
- How to register your business
- How to start earning income
Workshop 4
Wednesday 2 April – 5.30pm to 8.30pm
City of Belmont, Belmont Hub – Function Room, Belmont Civic Centre
- Obtaining a quote for business insurance.
- Business expenses you can claim on tax
- Superannuation, income tax, GST and keeping track of business finances
- Legal requirements
Workshop 4 will be followed by a celebration dinner and certificate presentation.
Important Things To Note:
- The program is open to business based in the City of Belmont and the City of Canning.
- There is no charge for the program, but participants must commit to attending all four workshops.
- Places are limited and successful applicants will be notified via email.
