Calling all parkour lovers of all ages, this park is for you! The Scramble, located at Omodeo Vista, Hammond Park, features a variety of parkour-style climbing equipment for your ultimate parkour challenge! Parkour is a kind of activity or sport that requires you to move quickly through an environment from Point A to B by running, jumping, climbing, and rolling.

This parkour obstacle course consists of multiple climbing blocks, stairs, balance beams, and pull-up bars of various heights.

Missy 9 and Missy 6 could quite easily get up on them and try out different manoeuvres, like walking on the beams and swinging on the bar. The floor of the parkour course is cushioned with foams to help minimize injuries.

There are also climbing blocks around the course for the kids to get creative and climb onto. You can slide on it, roll on it, hide in it, or just rest on it.

Beside the parkour area, there is a huge basketball court with a netball hoop.

It features a climbing wall! Kids can try climbing the wall with the help of the protruding bricks like how you would rock climb!

The park has a large green area with two goalposts. With plenty of space to run around, kids can enjoy kicking their footy here, or they can just have a family picnic.

There are plenty of tables and chairs in the shaded area; however, there are no BBQ facilities or toilets here. They do have a drinking water fountain and one for pets. Parking bays are available around the park, and do note that this park is not fenced.

The kids can go on a natural bush trail around the park after their play here.

If you walk across the road towards Genoa Park, you will discover a community street library! Next time you are here, bring along a book and swap it with another book on the shelf.
