If you’re in the northernmost tip of the vast Perth Hills, and in search of a little playground Action, it may be worth checking out Swan Playground in the Avon Ridge Estate. The rural housing estate is found close to the Bells Rapids Lookout.
Set against the backdrop of tranquil bushland in Brigadoon, the quiet Swan Playground has something for most ages; a play structure, swings and a basketball/netball court.
The traditional sand-fall play structure is shaded by large sails. There’s plenty to keep little ones occupied, with plenty of climbing, slide, monkey bars and a small flying fox.
There’s 3 swings…
A nest swing, toddler swing, and regular swing. The metal swing chains are much taller than usual, so I wonder if you can swing higher?!
There is also a small nature play zone, with stepping logs.
There’s a shelter with a couple of picnic tables. It’s worth noting the drink fountain was out of action (October 2026), so BYO water bottles here.
Swan Playground, Brigadoon is a good little spot for a play, away from the crowds.
