Rossmoyne Park Playground on Central Road is a lovely all-rounder local park that combines classic Playground fun with a peaceful nature walk and handy nearby amenities. Tucked just a short stroll from Rossmoyne Shopping Centre, it’s an easy spot to visit for a relaxed play, stretch the legs, and then grab a coffee or groceries on the way home.

One of the standout features of Rossmoyne Park is the short paved nature walk that runs beside the main play area. This little trail is great for scooters, prams and curious kids wanting to explore. Along the way there are benches to rest on, native flowers to spot and even a bird bath to discover, adding a touch of tranquility and a bit of nature play to the visit.

The Playground itself is sand-based and shaded by mature trees rather than shade sails, so it’s cooler on mild days but can still get bright in the middle of summer. The park is well set up for families, with a large car park that includes disabled bays and extra parking available across the nature walk via Tuscan Street. There are public toilets on site, open from 5:00am–8:30pm, though it’s worth noting there are no baby change facilities. Around the park you’ll find an undercover picnic bench, additional seating, and bins dotted throughout, making it simple to sit and supervise while the kids play. There’s no water fountain, so be sure to bring your own drinks. A sweet extra is the Little Street Library, perfect for a quick story break or swapping a book.

Being just across the road from Rossmoyne Shopping Centre is a big bonus. After a play, it’s easy to nip over for a coffee, treat, or last-minute essentials from the IGA, and there are café options and a pharmacy within walking distance.
