Found in the heart of the Avon Valley, Beverley has a fun playground that awaits visiting families and kids of all ages. The country town has recently unveiled its new playground at Moort Wabiny Park adding a touch of adventure to this charming community. Kids of every age will find something fun here. There’s nature play, and a big red truck, plus a skate park, pump track, and basketball court. And there’s a handy shaded barbeque area.

The fenced and gated playground is found on Vincent Street, Beverley’s main road. This means that is in a prime position to all amenities, public toilets and shops. AND the bakery!

The playground offers a wide range of activities to keep children engaged and entertained. From a bird’s nest swing, fireman’s pole and slides to climbing walls and imaginative play spaces, there’s something for everyone.

The centrepiece of the playground is a magnificent tree top walk-inspired fort structure that invites kids to climb, explore, and use their imaginations.

A beautiful old red Austin truck is one of the most popular things to play on here, which was restored by the local Men’s Shed. Kids can drive the truck, or play on its flat bed.

The nature play area features lots of interactive elements including a water play zone, balance and stepping logs, and plenty of rocks to climb on.

If you have bikes with you, why not test the kids on the pump track? The aim is to do as many laps as possible without peddling! This is great for beginners to learn BMX skills, as well as being challenging enough for those with more experience. This small but mighty park is also home to a skate park – complete with a concrete skate bowl and street elements that make it a good spot to bust out epic moves. Skate, scooter or ride, the skate park is for all levels and abilities.

Shoot some hoops and challenge your mates to a little one-on-one at the basketball court. The playground features seating, BBQs, a water station and shaded areas, allowing adults to relax and enjoy a picnic while keeping a close eye on their little ones. The surrounding green space is perfect for family picnics.
