Tucked within the Kingsford estate in Bullsbrook, this impressive community Playground blends nature play with more traditional equipment to create a brilliant allโages destination. Set against a backdrop of rolling hills and a treeโlined brook, itโs the sort of park where you can easily settle in for a few hours while the kids explore, climb, splash and play.

The hero of the Playground is the striking stacked crateโstyle climbing tower. Confident climbers will love tackling the different rope and ladder obstacles to reach the top before choosing one of the two large tunnel slides for a speedy trip back down. Itโs a great spot for older kids to test their balance and bravery, while still feeling contained and easy to supervise.

For younger children or those not quite ready for heights, thereโs a smaller embankment slide that gives them the thrill of sliding without the big climb.

A major drawcard is the interactive water play area, inspired by a local Aboriginal yarn about the origins of the nearby watercourse emerging from the cliff face. Kids can work together to pump water from the tap, send it spinning through the water wheel, then follow it as it trickles down carved stone channels. They can splash in the resulting puddles, redirect the flow with the water drill and mix sand and water to create dams, moats and mud pies. Itโs handsโon, cooperative fun, so packing a change of clothes or a towel is a smart idea on warm days.

Nature play elements are scattered throughout the space, inviting children to move in more adventurous ways. A timber balancing beam maze, stepping logs and larger balancing logs encourage kids to hop, stretch and test their coordination. With so much timber and stone used in the design, the whole area feels organic and connected to the surrounding landscape, instead of just another plastic Playground.

Traditional play equipment hasnโt been forgotten either. Thereโs a swing set featuring a standard swing and a toddler swing, perfect for siblings of different ages.

Nearby, a small basketball court and two netball rings give older kids and teens somewhere to shoot hoops or practise skills

Open grassy areas offer plenty of room for kicking a footy, playing chasey or spreading out a picnic rug, while the surrounding paths are smooth and ideal for scooters and bikes.
Families are well looked after with facilities. A large open shelter sits at the heart of the park and is perfectly suited to big family gatherings, birthday parties or community catchโups. There are barbecues and smaller picnic tables dotted around, as well as an amphitheatreโstyle seating area that doubles as a great spot for kids to perch, snack or put on a little โshowโ. Toilets on site make it much easier to stay longer without needing to pack up and drive somewhere else.
