Brilliant Boulevard, City of Kwinana

Located in the heart of the new community at Mandogalup, Florence Estate Park is the new playground that beautifully incorporates wooden beams for its play equipment. This spacious playground is nested beside rows of mature trees, providing scenic greenery, and playing in the park feels like you’re right next to nature.

My girls headed straight to the main play area, where the big slide is. The tall climbing structure consists of different climbing wall panels for the kids to climb onto.

Missy 6 had no trouble climbing onto all of them, but younger toddlers might find the tallest one daunting. The flooring of this playground is cushioned with soft foam.

Next, they tried out the swings. There was no fighting here, as there was a nest swing and 2 other seats for them to choose from.

One of the flying foxes has an all-ability harness seat, which provided the kids with another round of endless fun!

This playground has 2 separate nature play trails, so kids will be running around for a long time! Missy 6 loved this area with the wooden teepees.

The marimba added some extra noise and fun for her creative play!

There is a wooden climbing structure with plenty of balance logs and steps for the kids to try in the woodchip area.

There is also colourful vertical stepping logs too!

The girls loved this sturdy see-saw, which they needed a hand to get onto.

There’s also a smaller see-saw for the toddlers to enjoy in the same area.

The undercover seating area is spacious, with BBQ facilities beside it. A water fountain and bins are located in the park; however, there are no toilet facilities here.

As we walk around the park, I like that there are signboards describing the trees in the area.

And if you walk across the park, you will find a separate exercise area with a bike pump track and skate park!

There is even an outdoor squash court and running tracks around it. There is also another undercover seating area with BBQ facilities at this part of the park.
