Located in historic Guildford, The Academy of Taxidermy houses one of Australia’s largest private taxidermy collections with over 2,000 specimens. Led by Master Taxidermist Michael Buzza, who brings 40+ years of expertise, the facility combines a working taxidermy studio with the Museum of Natural History. Visitors can explore extensive displays of preserved wildlife, including rare Australian fauna, marine life, and dinosaur exhibits. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-5pm (7 days during school holidays), the museum offers a unique educational experience suitable for all ages. Special group bookings available Mondays. Specimen hire services available for events and displays.
