The Army Museum of Western Australia in Fremantle shares the history and heritage of the Australian Army through a series of curated galleries and exhibits. Located within the historic Artillery Barracks, the museum presents military stories from preโWorld War I through to modern conflicts, with dedicated spaces such as WW1 and WW2 galleries, a Prisoner of War gallery, and a Victoria Cross gallery featuring original VC medals.
Visitors can explore uniforms, equipment, vehicles and interactive displays, with volunteers and Defence personnel on hand to add context and answer questions. The museum welcomes families, school groups and history enthusiasts, with wheelchair access and ACROD parking available on site.
