Find Playgrounds near me
Looking for the best Playgrounds and parks in Perth for your next family outing? You’re in the right place. Whether you’ve got a toddler who loves gentle slides and swings, primary school kids who want to climb everything in sight, or tweens chasing a bigger challenge, Perth is packed with incredible play spaces — and they are completely FREE.
Buggybuddys’ directory brings together everything from neighbourhood gems to big destination super parks, plus nature play spaces, foreshore and beachside parks, and adventure Playgrounds with climbing towers, flying foxes, pump tracks and more. We know the practical stuff matters too, so you’ll find options that suit real-life parenting: fenced Playgrounds, parks with toilets, shade, water play, and even listings near cafés for that essential post-play coffee.
Use the filters to narrow down what you need (sand vs non-sand, all-abilities, toddler-friendly, scooter & bike parks and more), then pick a spot and get outside. Perth’s Playground scene is seriously world-class — happy exploring!
Tucked within the family-friendly northern suburb of Alkimos, Kells Park is a great little neighbourhood Playground with plenty to keep primary school-aged kids busy. Set on the corner of Santorini Parade and Kells Road, this local park combines traditional play equipment with fun nature play elements and lots of open space for running and ball games. The main attraction is a large wooden climbing structure set in a mix of sand and soft-fall. Kids can scramble up nets, clamber across platforms and whizz back down via the slide. One part has different knobs, balls and a spinning bullseye you can move around, and a cute owl on top that twirls. Another adjoining section was like a little Read more…
Bristlebird Park, previously known as Escarpment Park, is a fantastic community playspace nestled in the Alkimos Beach estate, a short drive north of Perth. Set along Bristlebird Circuit, this park has a lovely open feel, with a mix of sand, grass and softfall making it welcoming for families with toddlers through to school‑aged kids. A wide pathway loops around the space, perfect for little ones to zoom around on scooters and bikes while older siblings tackle the climbing equipment. The hero of Bristlebird Park is the impressive tubular slide and timber cubby house “fortress” perched up on the escarpment-style mound. Read more…
