Head to Hillarys, Iluka Foreshore or Rosslare Park in Mindarie for shallow, family-friendly beaches. Pack a picnic lunch and barbecue or plan a play date in the playgrounds. Visit Mullaloo Beach Playground or Clarko Reserve in Trigg for playground fun. Enjoy a splash at the beach and grab a coffee from of their great cafes.
South
Enjoy gorgeous summer days at Port Coogee Marina. The marina area offers a pram friendly, sheltered beach with calm waters. In addition, there is a splash pad area guaranteed to keep young children happy! Grab a takeaway coffee or bite to eat at Dome Café, also situated at the marina.
The Lido, also known as The Children’s beach is located by the Marina at Dolphin Quay in Mandurah. The waters are shallow and calm. There is minimal seaweed and plenty of fish to keep the kids entertained. Keith Holmes Reserve playground is adjacent. This has a fantastic Pirate Ship which is a hit with the kids.
