Step into a world of wonder where your little explorer’s senses will come alive! Get ready to dive into a hands-on sensory experience full of exciting smells, sights, sounds, and textures.
Hidden among slimy, crunchy, fluffy, and squishy materials are delightful surprises just waiting to be discovered! It’s the perfect chance to squish, squelch, shake, and play, all while supporting early learning and sensory development.
Sensory play helps boost brain development, fine motor skills, language, and social-emotional growth, all while supporting sensory processing in a fun and engaging way. It’s learning through laughter, discovery, and a little bit of mess, so come dressed for play and let the sensory fun begin!
This workshop is suitable for children aged 18 months to 5 years.
Please be advised that children under the age of 13 years are to be accompanied by an adult at this activity. Parents/Guardians are welcome to make themselves comfortable in the library during the activity but are asked to remain within the vicinity for the duration.
