OMG! Festival 2026 is a refreshed four-day celebration of light, storytelling and community, lighting up Kwinana from Thursday 26 February to Sunday 1 March.

Experience immersive light installations, live music, food trucks and family-friendly entertainment across Calista Oval. 

Thursday 26 February – Opening Night: Light Begins

• The festival begins! OMG! Festival 2026 lights up Kwinana with the first glow of Karak Sunset Talking – Karak Ngangk Wirdiny Wangkiny.
• Experience the launch of our immersive light installations on Calista Oval, The Edge Skatepark and the Kwinana Adventure Playground.
• Join us as we open four days of light, storytelling and community connection.
• A gentle, family-friendly introduction to the festival’s illuminated journey — perfect for evening walks and quiet reflection under the lights.
• A limited number of food trucks will be available on the opening night.

Friday 27 February – Live, Local, Luminous

• Calista Oval comes alive from 5pm to 9pm with food trucks, live local music, a pop-up bar and roving performers.
• A great night to meet friends, enjoy dinner under the stars, and experience the festival atmosphere at its best.
• The perfect start to your weekend — eat, dance and discover light in every direction!

Saturday 28 February – Creative Energy

• The heart of OMG! Festival 2026 beats brightest on Saturday night — with live performances, interactive art and vibrant community energy.
• Calista Oval lights up again from 5pm to 9pm with more food, music and family fun.
• Explore Karak Sunset Talking and discover new layers of storytelling through Noongar culture and sound.
• Celebrate local creativity and connection in one of the City’s most exciting nights of the year.

Sunday 1 March – Closing Night: Light Lives On

• Join us for the final night of OMG! Festival 2026 as we reflect, celebrate and enjoy one last walk beneath the lights.
• A calmer, family-friendly evening to take in the installations and say goodbye until next time.
• OMG! Festival 2026 closes with gratitude to our artists, community and everyone who made the magic happen.

Getting Here
Calista Oval is easily accessible by public transport, with bus services and parking available throughout the Kwinana Town Centre. We encourage visitors to plan ahead and check event updates for maps, parking locations and travel tips.

You can also walk or cycle to the event. Additional staffed bike racks will be available to provide safe and secure bicycle parking (please bring your own lock).

Pets at the OMG! Festival 

Unfortunately due to the large crowds, noise and movement, our large community events are not suitable for pets.  For the comfort of your pet, and our other attendees, we kindly request that you leave your pets at home.
