Nature Discovery Day – Brandwood Reserve
Discover Nature in Your Neighbourhood
Join the City of Cockburn’s Sustainability and Climate Change team for a morning of exploration at Brandwood Reserve.
These school holidays, come along and discover the beauty of this pocket bushland in the heart of Leeming. October is the perfect time to enjoy spring wildflowers, meet the community, and learn what makes this special place thrive.
Find us at the Nature Discovery Day marquee, near the playground.
What’s on:

9–12pm: Free coffee from the Friends of the Community coffee van

10am–12pm: Free Nature Art with artist Ariane Roemmele

Self-guided Wildflower Trail – uncover fascinating facts about our local blooms

Colouring-in and games available throughout the morning
Spaces for activities are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. If sessions are booked out, please contact the City to join the waitlist.

| 10.30-11.30am | Boodjar Biddi (Bush Track) cultural walk | See your local patch from a new perspective. Discover Nyungar knowledge of nature, wildlife, and the deep relationship between people and the environment. | All ages | Register here |
