NAIDOC Week Storytelling and Indigenous Games Workshop with Bec Garlett
July 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Participants will learn two dreamtime stories that have strong moral lessons regarding teamwork and listening to the country.
Play games that complement the stories, that have been adapted from traditional games played in the bush that help children understand the country as well as hand eye coordination.
The last 15 mins of the workshop will be used as a wind down by creating their own sand art to take home.
Subiaco library runs a free school holiday program for school children aged five and up. An adult must accompany children, and remain within the library, during all activities.
Please be sure to book a ticket for every child attending the session.
