About the Author and Illustrator:

Alex Thorpe, children’s author and storyteller, is known for sparking imagination through warm, whimsical writing that invites kids into worlds full of wonder. Alongside him is artist Brooke Bobridge, whose illustrations blend nature, colour and charm to give every gnome, mushroom and leaf its own personality.
