Microbes in Action @ Wanneroo Library
Calling young scientists to join Dr Rina to learn about microbes’ world-transforming powers and their biochemistry through hands-on experiments as we watch microbes dance under the microscope! We will also enlist the help from our friendly microbes’ superpowers to prepare our party decorations.
Meet Dr Rina Fu – award-winning scientist, author, illustrator, singer-songwriter and science storyteller extraordinaire! Dr Rina is passionate about helping people of all ages discover the wonder of science through songs, stories, cartoons, crafts and hands-on experiments. She is the 2025 Premier’s Science Award STEM Educator of the Year (Tertiary) winner and loves turning big science ideas into exciting adventures for curious minds. Dr Rina loves eating sushi.
She is fascinated by parasites… just not served with sushi!
