International Day of People with Disability – Create and Celebrate Event
Join us at Hillview Hub as we celebrate inclusion, creativity, and community this International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)!
In partnership with Valued Lives and the WA Inclusive Arts Group (WAIAG), this free event invites people of all ages and abilities to explore their creativity through hands-on art, crafts, and interactive activities.
Meet local inclusive artists, enjoy mindful artmaking, discover community resources, and connect with others in a relaxed, sensory-friendly environment.
Whats on:
Gray – Shrinkies Art Station: Design your own mini artwork on shrink plastic and watch it transform into a keychain or keepsake!
Tate – Hand-Building Clay Creatures: Sculpt small animals or tiles from air-dry clay — no experience needed, just creativity and curiosity!
Lav – Digital Art & Animation Station: Experiment with character design and playful face-changing animations on digital screens.
Grace King – Inclusive Music Experience: Join a gentle sound healing and music session featuring drums, tuning forks, and singing bowls.
+ Modified games + Library of Things + Light refreshments provided
