I’d Rather Eat Chocolate with author Narelle Wynter @ Girrawheen Library

Join us for a fun, interactive session presented by local author Narelle Wynter as she reads and brings to life her beautiful book I’d Rather Eat Chocolate. It’s a humourous story about a boy, and his dad who would like his son to eat moreveggies. The son’s response to eat up his veggies is ‘I’d rather eat chocolate,a cake or French-fry’ – wouldn’t we all??
Don’t miss out on a kid-friendly discussion of healthy eating using animal role play and games. Every attendee will build a mini-greenhouse to take home to encourage vegetable sampling at home.
Proudly supported by the Strategic Land Use Planning & Environment Team.
Target audience: Children aged 3 – 7 years and their parents/caregivers
FREE: bookings essential
