ABOUT THE BOOK
Book one in the Noongar First Words series, bond with your baby while helping them learn about Aussie animals and their Noongar names.
Babies and toddlers will love interacting with engaging illustrations of the Yongka (Kangaroo), the Weitj (Emu) and the Nyingarn (Echnida). With a free, comprehensive pronunciation guide and video available online, families can learn to appreciate and connect with an Indigenous language.
JAYDEN BOUNDRY
Jayden Boundry is Wadjak Balardong Noongar and Badimaya Yamatji. He is a Noongar language teacher and cultural consultant, didgeridoo player, traditional dancer and storyteller with Ngalak Nidja.
TYROWN WAIGANA
Tyrown Waigana is a Wardandi Noongar (south-west cape country) and Ait Koedhal (Torres Strait Islander) multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer.
