Bringing Up Great Kids – Young People who live with Neurodiversity – Maylands
This program is for parents of young people 0 to 18 years.
This program supports parents and caregivers on their journey with neurodivergent young people.
Together, we’ll build understanding, connection, and confidence in supporting our young people’s unique strengths and needs.
Together we will:
– Learn about brain development and how it relates to the experiences of neurodivergent young people
– Explore the messages of behaviour through a compassionate, neurodiverse lens
– Practice ways of giving nurturing and supportive messages that help young people feel safe, understood, and valued
– Share strategies for looking after ourselves while parenting, and celebrate the unique strengths our young people bring
Held at Maylands Library
