Baby Massage Session One @ Girrawheen Library

Jane Tetley is an Infant Massage Instructor and a Nurse, with a background in Midwifery and Child Health. She has worked with families over many years in varied settings. She believes that by nurturing and supporting parents and encouraging them to trust their own intuitive ability to parent, that they are then better able to nurture and support their infants.

During this FREE session you will cover:

  • Choosing safe and nurturing oils for your baby’s delicate skin
  • Understanding when it may be best to pause or avoid massage
  • Creating a peaceful moment and knowing the best times to share this experience
  • The many soothing and bonding benefits of baby massage
  • Simple, comforting strokes to gently relax and settle your baby’s body

Please bring a towel/blanket for your baby to lie on. Massage oil and handouts will be provided. If you have a preferred oil or lotion, please bring that along.

This session is suitable for 6-weeks to pre-crawlers only.
