Lincoln Road Reserve in Forrestfield has had a recent upgrade adding nature play, ninja course and double flying fox to the existing play equipment.
The double flying fox has a seat with a harness and the disc-style. The flying fox is quite long and as always we spent quite a bit of time on here.
The play equipment has monkey bars, a small platform and a slide but after a few turns on the monkey bar, it was the ninja obstacles and flying fox that kept my daughter occupied.
There is a nature play behind the flying fox which includes log ladders and log stepping blocks and balancing logs.
The ninja obstacles included knotted rope climbs, rope nets to climb over and across, balancing logs and blocks. My daughter enjoys making obstacle courses so enjoyed these aspects of the park.
As well as the play equipment the reserve has a large grassed space perfect for ball games or running off energy. There is also an area close to the equipment that has a bbq and picnic tables and bench seating.
The park is located opposite the Edinburgh Rd Shopping Centre making it convenient for a combined trip to the shop or to grab a coffee. With no car park provided for the reserve, we just parked on the verge.
