The City of Canning’s much-loved Community Safety Expo is back for its third year!

Join us for a fun-filled community day bringing together safety, essential services and entertainment for the whole family. Set in a relaxed, market-style atmosphere, this free event is your chance to meet local heroes, explore emergency vehicles and discover the wide range of programs and services that help keep our community safe.

What to expect:

Emergency & Community Vehicle Display

• WA Police – Meet local officers and snap a photo in a police car 
• Department of Fire and Emergency Services – Take an interactive tour of a fire truck 
• St John WA – Step inside an ambulance and learn more about the important work of our paramedics 
• State Emergency Service – Check out a rescue and recovery boat 
• City of Canning Waste Services – Get up close to a rubbish truck 
• City of Canning Ranger and Community Safety Services – Meet the team and check out a ranger car 

FREE Family Activities

• Bike Mechanic – Bring your bike along for a check-up free of charge 
• Face Painting – Free face painting for little ones 
• Constable Care Puppet Show – Teaching children how to identify an emergency, the correct phone numbers to use in a range of situations 
• Photobooth – Dress up as your favourite emergency worker or local hero and capture the moment to take home 
• Petting Zoo – Meet and greet some adorable furry friends 
• Reptile Show – Get up close to some fascinating reptiles
