WA Museum Boola Bardip: National Science Week Q&A

What kind of fascinating creatures have you found in the ocean’s depths? Do you get seasick when carrying out scientific experiments at sea?
Hear the answers to these questions and more at our special National Science Week pop-up Q&A session with scientists whose work is actively aiding our understanding of the world’s oceans.
Meet Christina Yip from UWA and Dr Andrew Hosie from the WA Museum Aquatic Zoology team and ask them all your bubbling deep-sea questions!
In 2025, Christina, who is currently studying at UWA, participated in the OceanX Education Young Explorers program, spending nine days learning onboard the R/V OceanXplorer. Andrew, the Curator Aquatic Zoology (Crustacea) at WA Museum, has been exploring the ocean for many years. He has taken part in many deep-sea scientific expeditions so has lots of interesting stories to share!
