Are you looking for a brand new scooter or bike playground to visit? Just opened in June this year, the Calista Bike Skills Track playground is a must!
It’s located right nearby the Kwinana adventure playground, the $1.5m Edge skate park, and Calista oval, so you’ll be spoilt for choice of things to play on.
This new playground features road-like flat paths, roundabouts, speed bumps, traffic lights, stop signs, pedestrian crossings, the cutest little petrol station, and so much more.
Next to it is a parkour area for the energetic kids, a basketball hoop, and a bike repair station for any bike emergencies.
There is no toilet at this playground, but the Kwinana Adventure Park toilets are just a few hundred metres away. It is quite shady, located under the trees, but be sure to pack a hat, water, and sunscreen too.
Throw in a towel and swimmers on a hot day if you plan on stopping into the adventure park, as they have a water play area next to the toilets.
I would definitely plan to spend a few hours here at least, and if you forget anything important, the Kwinana shops are just across the road, and in summer, there is usually an ice cream van parked on the oval.
