This fantastic playground & recreation space can be found in the new Mojo Urban Living estate in Cockburn Central.
The playground is a great mix of nature play amongst traditional equipment with a combination of soft fall, sand and wood chip ground cover.
The traditional swing has 2 seats plus you’ll find the always popular Bird Nest/Circular swing.
The main play structure offers various ways to get to the slide area platform, be it a log ladder, rope ladder, log steps or a climbing wall.
The whisper tubes are heaps of fun! Although I’m still waiting for my ice-coffee order.
Balancing logs and uneven balancing steps are spread throughout & around the playground making “Ground is Lava” competitions.
Smaller kids don’t have to miss out on all the fun, as there is a smaller fort with stairs and a flat slide.
There is a ping pong table and a full-size brightly painted basketball court plus a bounce wall.
Considering this is kind of hidden away, the space is HUGE. Thankfully the developers have kept a group of large gum trees to provide lovely shade perfect for picnicking right next to a large oval that has a set of AFL goal posts.
There was a group of black cockatoos chatting on the day that Sam loved.
Free gas BBQs along with water foundations, taps, bike racks and table shade, make it a great place for a play date or a birthday party.
The nearest toilets would probably be at the Cockburn Central train station.
