Water stories at Mount Flora Museum

April 11 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Explore thousands of years of history in Water stories, a new exhibit exploring how changing water use has shaped the landscape, industries, people, culture, and identity of the City of Stirling.

Discover stories including Kep Katitjin – Indigenous water knowledge, traditional water use and fish traps, shipwrecks, whaling, droving, market gardens, beach and surf culture, sustainability, and more.

Visit the Mount Flora Regional Museum, which is housed inside a historic water tank located in Waterman’s Bay between the Indian Ocean and Star Swamp, every Wednesday from April onwards between 10.00am – 4.00pm.

Entry is a gold coin donation.

Accessibility: The museum site is wheelchair accessible, but the mezzanine floor and the rooftop have stair access only.

Parking: There is limited parking located at the top of the driveway; please park on the grassed area at the bottom of the driveway, on the left as you enter through the gate from Elvire Street.
