Parenting is rarely simple, but raising a child on the spectrum often adds layers of complexity that can leave even the most of dads feeling overwhelmed. Some of the topics discussed include, building routines, supporting siblings of children with autism, understanding meltdowns and sensory overload, co-parenting and communication, understanding echolalia, advocating for your child, transitioning from early intervention to school age, finding joy and explaining autism to your friends and family.
