Luminous Boulevard, Bennett Springs, City Of Swan
Luminous Park is a “super fun” new playground that has everything (minus toilets) and is the third amazing great play space for the lucky residents of the vibrant Iluma Private Estate in Bennett Springs.
The huge blue climbing tower is easy for little climbers to navigate and features a giant tunnel slide, a smaller slide, noughts and crosses, and a picnic table at the top.
To the tower’s slide is a small sand play area with a bench, metal sift and buckets on pulley systems – this is the only sad at the playground so you are unlikely to go home with sand-filled shoes.
My boys loved the concrete bike/scooter track, which weaves around existing mature trees and has fun pops of colour and little mounds to ride over.
The double flying fox has two pommel seats and is definitely a crowd pleaser.
The pentagon-shaped swing frame has 5 inward-facing swings.
Luminous Park has the perfect combination of traditional play and nature play. The nature play elements include stepping logs, a wooden cubby house, a concrete slide, a tunnel and water play.
Before heading home the boys jumped out the rest of their energy on the 3 in-ground trampolines.
Luminous Park also has a large grassed area, picnic benches and a 5-minute walk from the very popular Slate Cafe.
If you are into park hopping make sure you check out our blogs on Dazzle Park and Pegasus Park.

This is a great little playground, and isn’t far from our school; some graduated slopes to protect from bordering road and equipment spaced apart so it kind of feels like a little exploration outing for them. The grounds also have an undercover area for a picnic.
