Lycaste Parade, Treeby, City of Cockburn

Located in the heart of Treeby, Kara Playground is a playdate paradise for kids of all ages! This state-of-the-art park features a nature play area, a toddler-friendly playground, flying foxes, a basketball court, and even a parkour park!

The vibrant colour of the slides shouts excitement for the kids. The main play structure is on the soft fall rubber flooring.

The net ropes are easy to climb onto, and the kids can choose between 2 slides. Missy 6 had no trouble climbing up the tall structure and getting up to the higher 5m slide.

The water play module is very popular with younger kids. They were all busy fetching the water from the tap into the sand playground.

I like that the nature play area is spaciously spread out on the sand playground and the wood chips area.

Missy 6 had lots of fun climbing onto all the different structures of wooden logs and steps to explore.

The bouncing see-saw added an extra fun element.

Just beside the playground, they were thrilled to see 2 flying foxes!

And there’s even more! A fitness equipment course suited for the whole family.

In the middle of the park is a big green grass area that’s beautifully maintained. Perfect for a kickabout or picnic!

Walking towards the other end of the park we are greeted with a vibrant basketball court with 2 rings!

For the older kids, they might prefer the parkour park. They can challenge the parkour obstacle course; try climbing up the different walls, blocks and steps.

There are various heights of bars, which adds some difficulty. Even Missy 9 had some trouble getting to some of them.

There are plenty of rest areas in this serene park with benches all around.

There is a huge pavilion at the playground that is shaded which has seatings and BBQ facilities; great for a kids’ birthday party.

Another smaller shaded area is found in the middle of the park, with BBQ facilities and seating as well. Water fountains and bins are available; however, there are no toilets here. Ample parking is available along the streets of the park.
