If like us, you love the Madox Playground and Pumptrack, there’s been a great new addition. Found at the opposite end to the Piara Waters park, Explorer Park has a small, but action-packed playground to discover! The vibrant playground has some very cool features, including a climbing wall with a difference, see-saw, swings and musical elements and more.
The playground has a mix of soft fall and wood chips, as well as having good shade sail cover.
Little Chef found the wavy climbing wall a challenge.
Two small in-ground trampolines are guaranteed to be fun.
For older children, a multi-sports court is found next to the playground. There are two basketball hoops and two soccer goals – perfect for a proper game with your mates.
A tennis wall includes painted-on cricket stumps and a target for accuracy practice. The smooth surface also makes the area good for roller skating/rollerblading.
There is a large shady picnic shelter with tables, benches and BBQs, making it a great spot for a picnic, or gathering. Explorer Park is located in the same park as Madox Playground and Pump Track.
Behind the sports area are some exercise stations, to work out as your kids play. A handy bike rack is also found at the park. Explorer Park is a fantastic spot for active families who like to spend lots of time outdoors.
Explorer Park has something for children big and small, even the adults!
