Old Central Fire Station Heritage Weekend
Imagine life as a firefighter and help us celebrate the 125th anniversary of the modern fire and rescue service in Western Australia with a visit to the heritage-listed Perth Central Fire Station.
Family friendly highlights over the weekend include:
· Exploring the first fire station in the city of Perth
· Trying on a brass helmet and dressing-up as a firefighter
· Meeting iconic 1990s mascot Freddy the Fire Truck
· Playing a trick on the balcony with Igor the Spider
· Making your very own Igor the Spider to take home
· Striking a pose from a page in our 1905 souvenir book
· Taking a ride around the block in a vintage fire truck
We look forward to seeing your family on the station!
