Maylands Public Library

The City of Bayswater Libraries (Maylands, Morley, and Bayswater) offer an extensive range of free programs for children and families. From early literacy sessions to after-school activities and special holiday events, the libraries provide engaging spaces for learning, creativity, and community connection.

Regular Programs

Rhymetime (Ages 0-2)

• Maylands Library: Mondays 9am & 9:45am, Thursdays 9:45am
• Morley Library: Tuesdays 9:45am
• Bayswater Library: Fridays 9:45am
• No bookings required

Storytime (Ages 2-5)

• Bayswater Library: Mondays & Fridays 10:30am
• Maylands Library: Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:30am
• Morley Library: Wednesdays 10:30am
• No bookings required

Sensory Storytime (Ages 2-5)

• Morley Library: Term-based program
• Specially designed for children who find regular storytime overwhelming
• Bookings preferred

Make It Club (Ages 5-12)

• After-school activities including craft, LEGO, and science experiments
• Maylands: Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm
• Bayswater: Thursdays 3:30-4:30pm
• Morley: Fridays 3:30-4:30pm
