  DO NOT RECOMMEND. What an absolutely appalling experience. I came from Perth down to Mandurah to take my nana and my great Aunty out for dinner. Decided Spurs in Mandurah. Upon entering we were approached by a young waitress who said she’d get us a table, the manager then came up, no smile with the worst attitude. Another young waitress comes up and asks if we have been helped and the first never came back so we were seated by the second waitress. Get a table and say we need time to decide but we will get a bottle of water. Waitress tells us she’ll be back with water and to take the order and then never returns, we have to stop a different waitress to ask her to take our order and get some water for us. Meals come out, partner ordered medium rare, it came out very rare, waitress returns to ask about meal and we say the steak isn’t correct so instead of taking the steak and fixing it she gets the waitress who took our order to get her tablet and check what we ordered, as if we were lying. She takes the steak and returns with a new one. As my Aunty is eating her meal the manager goes to take her plate without asking if she’d finished for her to have to say I’m still eating. We finish our meals. My son had a kids meal so we waited after plates were taken to say we would like the kids icecream now. No one returned. Pulled a waitress over to ask for his dessert she says she’ll go sort it. Waiting. Another waitress we pull aside and ask if the dessert is coming. She said what did you want so we repeat ourselves and say the kids cone she says she’ll sort it. Waiting. A third waitress we pull aside and say can we just have the cone to go and she says yes I’ll sort it. Waiting. The couple next to us go to leave and say good luck with your dessert saying they’d ordered had their tea all while we were waiting for a single cone. 30 minutes later the first waitress comes back to ask if we got the cone, we say don’t worry about it. We go to the counter and say after 30 minutes of waiting for a single cone we don’t wish to pay for the kids meal. The waitress says I can get the cone to take away now and I reply we have been told the same thing for the last 30 minutes for nothing to happen. She tells me there’s nothing she can do. Said to take the cone or nothing and that it’s been busy. It is not my problem if you are under staffed. She says there’s only one person behind the bar making dessert. So it’s my fault again that your management team couldn’t place staff appropriately on a Sunday night. My nana is getting upset at this stage as the meal was over $160 and they refused to offer a solution other than give us a cone they should have sorted 30 minutes ago. I ask for the manager, he comes up and asks what do you want! Unbelievable. I say I’m not paying for this kids meal, your staff could not get a single cone together within 30 minutes. He said you have to pay and that’s it. I reply with no and he tells me I shouldn’t have come on a Sunday night. So again it’s my fault for coming on a day that doesn’t suit him and his incompetent staff. He then rudely turns around and walks off and with the cue behind me now growing I say so as a manager this is how you handle a complaint, you turn around and walk off. He turns around and says 5 dollars that’s it. And again walks off. Beyond a joke! First and absolutely the last time I’ll be coming to this establishment or suggesting anyone I know attends this premises. Staff are useless, manager is rude and should not be a manager. He has absolutely zero skills in dealing with customers from the moment we arrived. Never again!!!
