What’s great about parks with toilets?
Playgrounds and parks with toilets are a blessing when you’re toilet training! Many community parks are foregoing these facilities. However, if you’re in the middle of toilet-training or have a child with a tiny bladder, this may mean you only stay for an hour or so. Why not plan a longer play date? Find a park or playground with public toilets and make a morning or even a day or it!

Jackadder Lake Playground is a picturesque park just north west of the city. This lovely lakeside spot features a shaded children’s playground, exercise equipment and paths perfect for bikes and scooters. As of the beginning of August 2023, the playground has been refreshed with new climbing equipment, a new and improved juniors area, and new picnic facilities. The Veterans Memorial Park Port Kennedy has something to suit the whole family, from tiny tots to teens! The large park includes two playgrounds, the new-ish Port Kennedy skate park and a memorial dedicated to our war veterans. The city of Rockingham’s largest skate park features lots of trails, bowls, ramps and an adjacent snake run. Though it’s very popular it’s large enough to ensure plenty of room.
