Whats to love about scooter & bike parks?
Kids love a good scooter and bike park! Children get to practise their riding in a safe environment. Many have great features such as simulated roads with stop signs and petrol pumps. Great for imaginative play! Plus you can start teaching some bike safety skills. Others are more challenging with pump tracks and jumps.
In addition, we’ve added details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee on the way. Don’t forget your reusable coffee mug! 😉
The Northern Suburbs have given us yet another fantastic park! At the Amberton Estate in Eglington, you’ll find the new park Heath Park also known as the Amberton Scooter Park and Pirate Playground. The park is a fair distance from the road and car park, about 100 meters, which makes it ideal for younger children not playing close to traffic. The biggest attraction of this park HAS to be the scooter park. A dedicated scooter track is an excellent idea and is similar to a scaled down skate park – perfect for younger children.
