Situated in the Shorehaven Estate is Shorehaven Boulevard Playground – a lovely, partially fenced playground that is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. Shorehaven Boulevard Playground features some play equipment we hadn’t come across before, and Miss 3 had a great time exploring. In the sand area, we found lots of colourful wood and plastic based play equipment. The lowest parts are made up of interconnected stations and feature some sensory play. Alkimos Park is situated in a newly established family suburb estate, north of Butler (NOR). The park offers school-aged kids lots of nature play equipment as well as some interesting items I’ve not seen in other parks yet. Alkimos Park is a mix of sand and soft fall with a main wooded climbing structure, nets and slide. This is quite shaded whilst you’re in the structure but otherwise, the park has no shade to offer until the trees mature around it. Escarpment Park is a community playspace for local residents in Alkimos. The park is a large open playspace set in sand, grass and softfall. Suitable for kids 12months+ with some great pieces of play equipment for older kids. A pathway meanders around the park great for scooters and bikes. One of the main features of the park is this huge long tubular slide and cubby house fortress. Great for fantasy play!
