Youth Create Series – Make a Short Film
With no prior experience needed, this course will guide you through the stages of movie production. From crafting scripts to understanding set processes, as well as using camera, lighting and audio equipment, you’ll gain practical skills in filmmaking with confidence.
Facilitated by Filmbites Screen Academy, step into the captivating world of filmmaking as you embark on creating your very own short film.
Eligibility:
For ages 11 – 18 years.

The Youth Room, inside Heathridge Community Centre.
Registration, entry requirements and what to bring:
- Please note*: before completing the registration form: ensure the participant is within the age range specified above prior to following the payment process. *Refunds will not be available for incorrect bookings. Online registration essential.
- Make sure the participant has completed the Youth Development Membership Form.
- After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Your ticket, can be printed or displayed on a smartphone on arrival.
