Sock & Buskin Youth Drama Workshops

For Ages 14 to 17 Years
Sock and Buskin Term 1 workshops will be focusing on one of the most fun and transformative skills in theatre: Improvisation.
Why Improvisation?
Impro isn’t just about being funny or “acting on the fly.” It’s a foundational skill that helps students:
- Build Confidence: Learning to trust their instincts in a safe, supportive environment.
- Enhance Quick Thinking: Developing the ability to adapt to new situations and solve problems creatively.
- Boost Teamwork: Mastering the “Yes, And” rule—listening to others and building on their ideas.
- Overcome Fear of Failure: Understanding that there are no “mistakes” in impro, only new opportunities!
