Make Your Own Sensory Monster @ AH Bracks Library + Creative Space
Join award-winning children’s book author-illustrator and primary school teacher, Sean E Avery as he reads his new picture book co-created with paediatric occupational therapist, Caris Bailey – The Sensory Monsters Playground. The story is set in the newly built Duncraig Adventure Hub’s Sensory Monsters Playground; featuring neuro-affirming monster characters who explore their own unique sensory preferences in this special outdoor play space.
After the reading, children will identify and learn more about their own sensory preferences and unleash their creativity when they first design, then build their own unique Sensory Monster plasticine model.
The workshop it is suitable for children aged 7+ years.
Please be advised that children under the age of 13 years are to be accompanied by an adult at this activity.
If you are unwell or cannot attend, please contact the library as soon as you are able to allow someone else to take your place.
