Join us for a vibrant cultural experience as we welcome the Year of the Snake. Immerse yourself in the rich traditions and crafts that bring this festive season to life.

• 9.30am – 11am: Create delicate, handcrafted lanterns or lotus flowers using paper art.
• 9.30am – 11am: Discover the art of Chinese calligraphy and learn how to write your first name.
• 9.40am – 9.55am: Bilingual story time featuring an ancient story of Lunar New Year to be presented in both English and Mandarin for children.
• 10am – 11.30am: Traditional dress up photo booth.
• 11am – 11.05am: Enjoy a mesmerising traditional Chinese dance performance by talented dancers with their intricate footwork and graceful gestures.

This is a free event for all ages, bookings not required.

Children under the age of 13 years must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times while in a City of Rockingham Library.
