Creative Kids for 2 – 4 years

Join the Creative Kids adventure – where art and craft sparks imagination and joy!

Creative Kids is a fun, engaging program for parents and their little ones, filled with themed weekly activities and hands-on craft adventures. In a welcoming, inclusive space, children build confidence, develop social skills like sharing, and strengthening fine motor abilities while exploring tools like scissors and and paintbrushes. Best of all, it’s a wonderful opportunity to spark creativity, nurture imagination, and enjoy meaningful bonding time together.

Program Specifics and Requirements

🎨Guided by program facilitators, Creative Kids is a parent-led program to participate with their child aged 2-4 years.

🎨 Parents are to remain for the entirety of the program to participate, supervise, and support their child’s exploration.

🎨 We understand parents may be required to care for more than one child. As such, no fees apply to children in prams, however, siblings not in prams will need to be registered as program attendees. Our age ranges are a guide, and activities can be adapted so everyone can join in. If you’re unsure, please chat to our friendly program staff on the day.

Creative Kids Days and Times

All Youth and Families programs do not operate on Western Australian public holidays, as listed on the Government of Western Australia’s website.

Creative Kids: School Terms

The ‘Creative Kids’ and ‘Creative Older Kids’ programs run for 8-9 weeks during the school term, with all classes being held at Huntingdale Community Centre, Huntingdale.

Creative Kids does not operate during the school holidays

Specialised activities are often organised during the school holidays. These activities are often listed in the Creative Kids program page and advertised on our City of Gosnells Children and Families Facebook page.

Registering your child into a Creative Kids class

Below are the steps involved in registering your child into a class.

1. Check you are registering into the suitable age-appropriate class. If you do not want to register your child into this Creative Kids (2 – 4 years) class , you may want to consider visiting the Creative Older Kids (5 – 10 years) class webpage.
2. Review the Children and Families Programs FAQs and Cancellation Policy webpage before proceeding to registration.
3. Purchase a ticket to secure a place in the program for the term via the TryBooking event (hyperlinked below).
   – Note: a TryBooking account is not needed to purchase a ticket

• Participants are encouraged from attending if they are unwell at the time of the event/program.

Short-Notice Changes to Programs/Events (including Cancellations)

Facilitators schedule these much-loved programs in advance. In the event of unexpected circumstances, such as inclement weather or illness, scheduled programs may be subject to alteration or postponement at short notice.
